What better picture to have of me than my wife and I at Niagara Falls, NY from 2017.  This is a perfect embodiment of my passions: travel and photography.  I picked up a camera when I was young and used to enter photos into the local county fair, but for a long time it never went any further than that.  I started traveling the world and each trip I noticed a little growth in my camera work, as well as upgrades in equipment.  I started studying materials and watching tutorials to enhance my skills on Lightroom and Photoshop, as well as training videos for on site camera shooting.  I find post-processing very appealing since a person can take a photo a million different directions in order to create those everlasting memories.  What helps feed my drive? In the Summer of 2017, I was diagnosed with Crohns.  The thought of opening my own business did cross my mind, but when I went through all the problems at the hospitals, I decided I should make some extra money on the side a little sooner than anticipated.  I do work full-time; however, I love traveling and being able to photograph landscapes and people. It's just too much fun to just let it pass me by without taking a risk.  I am thankful to have such a loving and supporting wife to push me in this endeavor.  At the end of each calendar year, I plan on donating a portion of the profits to the local Iowa Food Bank, St. Jude, and Blank Children's Hospital.  Thank you for stopping by and reading my story!  I hope that I can be given the chance to best serve your needs.
